Passage Desking Office Systems by Herman Miller are versatile workstations that are freestanding modular units that are easy to customize in décor, easy to order, and easy to install. There are ergonomic features of this system. The Passage Desking Systems meets the needs for the following:

Enclosed offices
Open work spaces
Teams
Individuals
Consistency

The desking systems are mobile and adjustable. For precise ergonomic adjustments, the surface height can be adjusted in one-inch increments. There are a variety of shapes available that include the following:

Corner module
Extended corner module
Peninsula modular
D-Shaped modular
Rectangular modular
Extension modular

Some of the modules have curved shapes and edges that are rounded. When combined it can create a unique, functional, and ergonomic workstation. There is the choice between a laminate top with a vinyl edge and veneer top with a wood composite edge.

Space planning is simple with the Passage Desking Office System. The three-in-one back panels can be converted to allow for varying levels of privacy without interfering with cable management. Each station is independent and freestanding so it doesn’t rely on shared walls, panels, or partitions for support. This makes the Passage Desking System very flexible and it easy to rearrange as needed.

Privacy can be controlled with the back panels and with screens that attach above the work surfaces. The screens can come with one or more of the following:

Arc screens

The screens can be added or removed without any changes needing to be made to other parts of the workstation. Full-height screens can be added to create a conference area, increase privacy, or decrease interruptions. There is also flexibility in storage with this system and it has easy open, soft closing doors.
